FAQ
What are the main benefits of using general linear and modular mats?
General linear and modular mats offer several advantages, including durability to withstand heavy foot traffic, ease of installation, and maintenance benefits. Linear mats can be quickly rolled out for fast setup, while modular mats provide flexibility for customization and reconfiguration to suit various layouts. Both types ensure long-lasting floor protection and are easy to clean and maintain.
What materials are the mats made from?
Our mats are crafted from high-quality materials such as rubber, sponge, or vinyl, each with its own set of properties. Rubber mats offer excellent durability and slip resistance and we offer them in multiple compounds such as ESD, fire resistance, nitrile for oily areas or a combination thereof, sponge matting provides exceptional comfort making them ideal for workstations where employees need to stand for long-periods and vinyl mats are known for their flexibility, durability, and ease of cleaning
How do these mats contribute to workplace safety?
Our mats are engineered with safety in mind. Features such as anti-slip surfaces, safety bevels and cushioning help to reduce the risk of slips, trips, and falls, and absenteeism caused by aches and pains from long-term standing.
Are there any warranties or guarantees available?
Yes, we offer warranties on our mats to provide added assurance of quality and performance. Our warranties typically cover defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the date of purchase. Details regarding coverage and duration can be found in the product documentation or provided upon request
How do I install the modular mats?
Installing modular mats is a straightforward process. Begin by ensuring the floor surface is clean and dry. Lay out the mats according to your desired configuration, interlocking the connecting edges securely. Use a rubber mallet or similar tool to ensure a tight fit between the tiles. For larger installations, consider using our Notrax® super glue to secure the mats firmly in place.
How are modular mats customised?
Our modular mats can be easily customized to fit specific dimensions and layout requirements. Each mat features cutting lines, allowing for precise adjustments without the need for specialized tools. Simply measure and cut along the designated lines to achieve the perfect fit for your space. We can also cut the mats for you at our warehouse in the Netherlands to ship your solution ready. If it’s a larger installation, and you would like help to install your matting, we also offer a Technical Installation Service.
Do these mats have any impact on the environment?
We are committed to sustainability and environmentally friendly practices. Our mats are made from recyclable materials and manufactured using processes that minimize waste and energy consumption. Additionally, our modular design allows for easy replacement of damaged sections, further extending the lifespan of the product and reducing landfill waste.
Can damaged sections of modular mats be replaced individually?
Yes, damaged sections of our modular mats can be replaced individually, providing a cost-effective solution for maintenance and repair. Simply remove the damaged tile and replace it with a new one to restore the integrity of the flooring system. This modular approach helps to minimize downtime and reduce overall maintenance costs over time.
Do you offer anti-fatigue mats with specific design features, like beveled edges or drainage holes?
Yes, we offer a variety of design features to meet your specific needs and preferences. Our custom anti-fatigue mats can be equipped with beveled edges to reduce trip hazards and facilitate easy movement onto and from the mat. Additionally, we offer mats with drainage holes or channels to allow liquids to drain away quickly, keeping the surface dry and safe.
Can I get a sample of the material before ordering a custom-sized mat?
Yes, we understand the importance of choosing the right material for your needs. We offer samples of our materials that you can purchase upon request so you can see and feel the quality before purchasing your matting. Simply contact our customer service team to request samples, and we'll be happy to assist you in finding the perfect material for your custom anti-fatigue mat.
How long does it take to receive a custom-sized mat after placing an order?
The time it takes to receive a custom-sized mat after placing an order can vary depending on factors such as production time, shipping method, and location. Typically, custom orders are processed and manufactured within 4 business days, with shipping times varying based on your chosen delivery option. We strive to fulfill orders as quickly as possible while maintaining our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Are your custom anti-fatigue mats suitable for wet or oily environments?
Yes, our custom anti-fatigue mats are designed to perform well in wet or oily environments. We offer mats with specialized surface textures and materials that provide excellent slip resistance, even when exposed to liquids or oils. For oily environments we recommend selecting a Nitrile rubber option and for especially oily environments we have our added GSII® grip step options for superior grip.
